Cases Journal TAOMFR is an official scientific On-Line Journal of the Taiwan Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology (TAOMFR). We are warmly welcome submission of well-described case reports or case series reports related to head and neck imaging written in English or Chinese from all physicians. To be accepted for publication, case reports must be comprehensible, ethical, and comprises all information necessary to their elucidation. All submitted articles will be peer reviewed.
Technical reports, review (mini-reivew) or research articles relating to head and neck imaging are also welcome.
Manuscript submission
Manuscript together with the cover letter signed by the corresponding author should be submitted in Microsoft Word by e-mail to one of the following addresses: k0285@ms22.hinet.net or taomfr@pchome.com.tw
Accepted format for case report articles
Manuscripts submitted to Cases Journal TAOMFR must be according to the format described below. There is no word limit, but we suggest that there should be no more than 25 references and 10 figures. All abbreviations used in the text should be defined in the text where first used.
Title page
The first page of the manuscript should be the title page, including the title of the case report, the full names, institutional addresses and email address for the contact author. The corresponding author should also be indicated. Please also list the keywords related to the case report.
Abstract (optional)
This is an optional section. The abstract should start on the second page and be a brief summary of the case presentation. There should be no abbreviations or references in the abstract.
Introduction
The introduction section should explain the background of the case, including a brief literature review.
Case presentation
This should present all relevant details relating to the case. Please include the following background information about the patient(s):1. Age
2. Sex
3. Ethnicity
4. Medical & family history
5. Personal habits
Please also ensure that description of the case includes the following information:
1. Symptoms & signs on presentation
2. Diagnostic tests
3. Any head & neck imaging performed (compulsory)
4. Primary & any subsequent diagnosis
5. Surgical or any other interventions
6. Outcome & follow-up data of the case
Comments
This section provides any relevant and useful information associated to the case presentation, and that put the case in context or that explain specific treatment decisions.
Conclusions (optional)
This should state the main conclusion(s) of the case report and the importance and relevance of the case presentation.
References
All references must be numbered consecutively, in square brackets, in the order in which they are appeared in the text. For more than 6 authors that first 6 should be listed followed by "et al". Only articles and abstracts that have been published or are in press, or are available via public e-print/preprint servers, may be cited. Unpublished abstracts, unpublished data and personal communications should not be included in the reference list, but may be incorporated in the text.

Cases Journal TAOMFR 是一本由中華民國口腔顎顏面放射線學會發行的官方科學性網路雜誌 (On-Line Journal)。我們熱烈歡迎大家提交與頭頸部影像相關系列病例報告或個案病例報告之文稿(中文或英文稿件均可)。接受刊載之病例報告必須是易於理解、符合醫學倫理，並包括其診斷所需的所有資訊。所有提交的文稿將會進入同儕審查 (peer review)。
我們也歡迎與頭頸部影像有關的技術報告(technical report)、綜論(review)及研究文稿(research article)。
文稿
